Hazells Streamline Red Star 1936

The Red Star formed part of Hazells expanding Streamline range and retained the distinctive triple-shaft construction that characterized the series. Identified by its red finish, the model featured a slightly slimmer racquet head than the earliest Streamline examples, giving it a more refined and aerodynamic profile. The Red Star was marketed alongside the Blue Star, Green Star and White Star models within Hazells colour-coded lineup. Like the other Streamline variants, it was based on the patented design developed by Frank W. Donisthorpe during the mid-1930s. Its introduction reflects the continuing development of the Streamline range while preserving the unconventional construction that made the series immediately recognizable on the tennis courts of the period.
