Background facts:

Victor Sporting Goods joined the Overman Wheel Company, an early bicycle manufacturer, in 1890. Overman expanded into sporting goods in 1894, producing a wide range of items under the Victor brand, including tennis racquets, bicycles, and golf clubs. Victor was particularly known for their round-head racquets. The piece features a beautiful, glossy patina and a cross-hatched handle. The frame shows a round head with a transitional flat-top design.
