By the late 1930s, Hazells Ltd. introduced what would become the most iconic design of the entire Streamline series: the White Star model. With its clean white lacquer finish and subtle detailing, the racquet embodied visual clarity, structural harmony, and technical refinement. For Henry 'Bunny' Austin, long-time ambassador of the Streamline series, the White Star became a personal favorite. More than any other version, it aligned with his image as the epitome of British tennis elegance. Austin had already entered the history books in 1933 as the first man to step onto Wimbledon’s Centre Court wearing shorts, breaking with tradition and redefining the visual code of the sport. From that point on, he was synonymous with modernity, athletic grace, and the symbolism of tennis in white.
